Therefore, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (Law), which is in force in order to protect your fundamental rights and freedoms.
General Law Scope
In the Law, our company is referred to as the “Data Controller”. Within the scope of the Law, “Data Processing” refers to any and all operations performed on personal data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, updating, classifying, sharing with third parties permitted by law, or transferring to them, in whole or in part, by automatic means or non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.
Legal Reasons for Processing Personal Data
Within the scope of the relationship we will establish due to the products and services you will receive from our company; we process your personal data for the legal reasons set forth in Article 5 of the Law:
It is clearly provided for in the laws regulated in Article 5/2 (a),
The processing of personal data of the parties to the contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the contract you have signed with our company or the fulfillment of this contract, as stipulated in Article 5/2 (c).
It is mandatory for our company to fulfill its legal obligations regulated in Article 5/2 (ç),
Data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right regulated in Article 5/2 (e),
Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of our company, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms as regulated in Article 5/2 (f),
For your special personal data; you must have explicit consent in accordance with Article 6/2 of the Law.
Why and For What Purposes Do We Use Your Personal Data? Purposes of Processing Personal Data
To record your identity, address and other necessary information in order to identify your information in the transactions you make,
To convey important information that we need to share with you via your contact information,
Recording camera footage in our buildings due to workplace security practices,
To plan, audit and implement our corporate sustainability, corporate governance, strategic planning and information security processes,
To fulfill our administrative and legal obligations and the contracts we have signed with you.
If necessary, we only share your personal data with persons and organisations permitted by law.
What are your rights under the law?
You can contact our company at any time to request your personal data;
You can learn whether your data has been processed, the purpose of processing and whether it has been used in accordance with its purpose, and if it has been processed, you can request information about it,
You can learn about the third parties with whom your information is shared, both domestically and abroad, in accordance with the law.
If you think that your information is processed incompletely or incorrectly, you can request correction,
You may request the deletion or destruction of your information within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
You may request that the requests specified in clauses (c) and (d) be notified to the third parties to whom your information has been transferred and that they perform the same procedures,
You may object to a result that is detrimental to you due to the analysis of your information by automated systems, or if you believe that it has been recorded or used unlawfully and you have suffered damages as a result, you may request compensation for the damages.
If your application for these purposes requires an additional cost, you may be required to pay the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Your requests in your application will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
In order to benefit from your rights under the law, you can submit your applications in writing, using your registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or your electronic mail address that you have previously notified to our Bank and is registered in our Bank's system.
